Blizzard Fun!!

Well we finally got our first blizzard of the season today. So far we have about 11 inches and the wind is blowing like crazy. Ryan went out to snowblow the 10 inches of snow we had already gotten and Madelyn went with him to play in the snow. She had a good time. She reminded me of the kid from A Christmas Story. If she would of fallen over I don't think she would of been able to get up.

Holiday Fun!!

The kids are getting very excited for Christmas. Especially Madelyn. We started our cookie making today. The kids got to make there sugar cookie cutouts. They loved it and they did a very good job. We finally got some snow so they got to go out and play. Madelyn loves to make snow angels. They are all growing. Emily is crawling all over the place. She isn't crawling on her hands and knees yet but she is army crawling. She has the sweetest personality and is a very good baby.

Ms. Emily

Emily had her doctors appointment on Tuesday. She of course is perfect. She weighs 18.4 pounds and is 28 inches long. She is not a little baby anymore and it is very sad. She is eating lots of foods and loves it.

Andrew discovered a new trick in the bathtub the other night. And Madelyn discovered a new outfit!! I bought her some leg warmers for when she has dance and of course she had to put them on right away. She didn't understand that they were to go OVER her clothes.

Halloween Carnival Pictures

Here are some pictures from the carnival.

Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween everyone. We had a very busy Halloween as usual. Madelyn's preschool had a Halloween carnival so that was our first stop of the night. The kids had a great time. There were lots of games to play, candy to be won and Madelyn got her face painted. After the carnival we made our way up to my Aunt and Uncle's for my cousin Anthony's birthday party which we always celebrate on Halloween. We stuffed our faces and then Madelyn headed out to trick or treat with her Auntie Krista and Ryan and I and the other 2 headed home. I handed out candy and Ryan got dressed and headed out to work for the night. Madelyn hand a great time trick or treating(Thank You Auntie Krista!!) and she was very excited about all the candy she got.

Pumpkin Time

We finally carved our pumpkins last night. Madelyn loved digging in the goo and playing with it. Andrew is more of a texture kid but once he touched it he didn't mind it. Although he wouldn't leave it on his hands like Madelyn, he would wipe it off right away. It was so nice out yesterday that Emily got to eat her dinner outside on the back porch and watch her sister and brother clean out their pumpkins with Daddy. Madelyn liked to shake her hands to get the goo off so there was pumpkin on Daddy, Andrew, Madelyn and the house. But they had fun.

Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

We decided to venture out this weekend and drove down to Eau Claire to stay with my Aunt and Uncle. The kids did alright on the way down. They were very excited to be there and to play with my cousins. On Saturday we went to a pumpkin patch/ apple orchard where they got to go on a hay (apple wagon) ride, jump in a bouncy thing and walk through a corn maze. Andrew had a great time in the corn maze with Daddy and Madelyn was off having fun with Papa and the big kids.

We were having a good time and then the breakdowns started to happen. Emily was first, she wanted to be done and she let us know by screaming and screaming. Then it was Madelyn's turn, screaming like she was being beaten. And then there was our sweet little Andrew very content watching his movie while his sister flipped out. So our trip took a turn down hill. Emily was up 10 times that night. Yes, I will say it again 10 TIMES! So we went to church and breakfast the next morning (Thank goodness for the crying room) and then headed home. And we won't talk about how the drive home was. So to say the least will not be taking any trips for a long time!!!

But we still had a good time, the kids thought it was great staying at Auntie Jeanne and Uncle Rick's.
